HOW IT ALL BEGAN
Where it's going...
I'm Dean Harrison, a children's author based in the UK. A year ago, I had a dream that woke me in the early hours. Unable to get back to sleep, I opened my laptop and began to write a short story. I wrote it in a way that would be appealing to children and teach them the importance of nature.
To date, I have written a series of children's books featuring the same character. With the second book of my series being available to buy this August 2024.
Through my books and other small projects. I hope to raise enough money to help the environment by purchasing land and planting as many redwood trees as possible. Thus, making it a safe haven for wildlife. If given the opportunity, I would plant a rainforest or two. Or maybe even three. What is life without your dreams.
A little about the Author
I am a first-time Author behind the Amazon book, Nature's Guardian Angel. I have never really written any meaningful stories until now.
The reasoning behind my books is to raise money to purchase land, plant a redwood forest, grow hundreds of fruit trees and vegetables native to the UK, and then donate the proceeds to the less fortunate. To date, I have written 6 children's nature books, all based on the same character. The books are adorned with captivating illustrations, and the stories are intended to motivate and inspire young people to take positive action both now and in the future, to protect nature and the planet itself.
The Character
"Nature's Guardian Angel" is a compassionate celestial being whose happiness is rooted deeply in the well-being and protection of the natural world. Upon witnessing the destructive impact humans have had on the natural world, he is overcome with sadness. However, as he aids in the recovery of the natural world, he also becomes increasingly intrigued by the complexities of humans.
